Two Podcast Episodes and a Player Feedback App

CoachCraft is in expansion mode with the addition of a new initiative around supporting coaches in delivering more impactful feedback for their players. And two new episodes from the podcast.

It’s been a busy fall. So busy, in fact, that I haven't been in touch with newsletter updates recently. It’s been a very active month with two new episodes on the CoachCraft Podcast AND the soft launch of a new startup, CoachFives.

First, the podcast: two great conversations with a focus on youth sports in Boston. The first, a conversation with Chris Hoeh as he shares stories of his relationship with Dean Conway and the impactful work the two of them did in the grassroots game in the city.

For the second, we venture into the realm of local politics in a conversation with Boston City Councilor Ben Weber. Ben shares his thoughts on the youth sports landscape in Boston, the White Stadium project, and how residents can advocate for improving access to sports for young people. These are lessons not just for Boston, but for anyone working in youth sports in an urban environment.

CoachFives

I’m excited to be working with some coaches in Europe on a new startup focused on delivering better feedback to young athletes. With a skill assessment and conversation framework rooted in sport science and human psychology, we’re giving coaches and clubs of all levels new ways of providing a more human-centered youth development experience for players and their families. We’re just getting started with the beta launch of the app, but if you’d like to learn more, visit us at https://coachfives.com.

The CoachCraft Podcast

CoachCraft explores the art and impact of coaching youth sports through in-depth conversations with renowned coaches from grassroots to professional levels, revealing how exceptional mentors use athletics to shape character, build confidence, and positively impact young lives.
